Hey there! Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because it’s not about gifts, it is about spending time with your loved ones and appreciating what you have over a good meal. Plus, let’s be honest, the food isn’t bad either.

I wasn’t sure about writing a post this week. I know I haven’t posted much lately but between Nanowrimo and my normal routine it’s been pushed to the side. I have been making good gains during National Novel writing month. My latest project, Guilty Pleasures (a contemporary romance) is almost done at around 80k words right now. That will hopefully mean that by early next year it will be ready for me to publish.

Ultimately, I decided to write this post because this is the time of year to be grateful for what you have, and I am grateful to be an author and have people like you that read these posts and my short stories. So thank you for coming here and reading this post. I appreciate you and I hope your thanksgiving is full of love, good food and happy memories!

J.L. Sanchez is a big lover of romance, paranormal romance and sci-fi genres. She has been a voracious reader since she was a child when she first fell in love with books. She’s a wife to her high school sweetheart and a supermom of four who spends her days trying to make her minions into decent little humans. She worked for over fifteen years in the office world until she had her first child. She lives in sunny South Florida and has a love/hate relationship with the unpredictable weather there, though it never fails to inspire her.
