Let your passion be the reason for your existence, and your success the product of your persistence.

When I saw this quote I stopped scrolling. It called to me because you know what… that is how I feel about writing. I love to write stories. I’m passionate about my characters and their journeys and want to share them with you. I may not love everything about being an author. I certainly don’t love editing, but it’s part of the process and the end result is pretty damn cool. Holding a book in my hands that I created is surreal. So I persist, even when it’s not easy or convenient, because I want to be successful so that I can keep sharing stories with you.

I’ve been busy editing the finished manuscript of Guilty Pleasures this last week amongst other things. It’s a long process but I’m chugging along. I am passionate about this project and I’m hoping my persistence will pay off when you finally get to read it. It’s a story of love, redemption and second chances.

What are you passionate about? Do you let it drive you every day? What do you do to keep yourself on track?
