Emergence is done. Yay! But it ends on a cliffhanger. Boo! I’m sorry, but it had to be done. I tried to wrap up the series in this book, I really did, but at 156k words I had to stop. After all the years I’ve spent on these characters, I didn’t want to rush their ending. So much happens in Emergence. There were many things that were alluded to in the other books that finally come to fruition in this book. One big example is Seth finally meets his mate and she’s a handful! There are a lot of heavy things happening in this book as well. I bawled my eyes out, writing a few scenes.
Emergence is with the editor now. I’m not sure how long it will take me to get through my edits. I’d like to release the book before the end of the year, but I know I can’t make any promises. With a big family, I never know what life is going to throw at me to hinder my progress. Just know that I will try my very best to get it out to you as soon as possible. So hang in there. Lena and Carlos’s story is worth the wait.
